Teleporting Blade :
Trap Behavior: Teleports in a pattern that the game chooses for the base I suggest 5 or 6 random patterns for a base and only then the player can choose the pattern because other wise the trap will teleport in the borders some times. You also can add new mechanics to the game by adding upgrade tokens but I am sure that you can think of another gem because of the theme of the game like a sapphire that looks like this : https://images-aka.kay.com/kay/gemstone/blue-gems/blue-stones.jpg
Lapis looks like it's not for the theme of the game so probably add sapphire gems instead of lapis gems. I will suggest dark blue gems for the upgrade because there are no dark blue gems in game (At least I didn't see any.)
How to time a dungeon with a trap like that :
To time a dungeon with a Teleporting Blade add colors to it's spikes on default it will be set to neon arctic blue (By neon I mean glowing (You don't have to add dynamic light in game you can make it look like it's glowing. Or I am sure it will be too laggy to play on weak devices.) so when you are in your base then the trap is calm and doesn't teleport it's spikes color is neon arctic blue (I will send a link of the colors because they can be different depending on the different pictures.) when someone or you is/are attacking a dungeon then the trap panics starts switching colors and teleports the colors switch from neon arctic blue to neon sky blue to neon sapphire to neon cerulean and then neon blue or lapis ( I suggest lapis.)(Again by neon I mean glowing.)https://www.pinterest.com/pin/135178426291240857/?autologin=true the player can choose how many seconds it takes for the trap to teleport from 2 or 3 to 6 (1 sec=1 color.)
The difference from a cannon is that the trap has it's random pattern for the base so it doesn't have to tp(teleport) in a straight line. The difference from an electro cannon is that it teleports in a random pattern and not in a straight line.
That's all for the trap behavior now...
Upgrade Mechanics :
So instead of making the Teleporting Blade a separate trap you can make it as an upgrade for a dungeon so to upgrade a trap click edit in your dungeon then click on the trap and I imagine there would be a new section for upgrades and the old upgrades you can call "level up section" in the section you there is an upgrade button and you can see what the upgrade does ok and this not the old upgrade which will be called "Level up"
To upgrade a trap the new way you will need gold and sapphires the number of sapphires increases every time you upgrade a trap for all traps.
How to get sapphires ?:
You can get sapphires by upgrading a gem generator/mine and it will start generating sapphires instead of regular gems you can get them in events as well as other recourses maybe even new events and you can buy them with orbs,(1 orb= 5/6/7 sapphires maybe that's too expensive so I suggest 8.
